More and more people are discovering the unspoilt beauty of the Welsh coastline and Conwy School of Yachting provides the ideal base from which you can charter a yacht to take advantage of this.
If you want to take a longer trip we are also in an ideal position for crossing to Ireland and the Isle of Man.
Below are suggestions of some of the more popular ports of call to give you some ideas when planning your cruise.
Anglesey and North Wales
- In the Menai Straits: Beaumaris, Menai Bridge. Port Dinorwic and Caernarfon
- Around Anglesey: Moelfre, Amlwch. Cemaes Bay, Porth Wen, Holyhead and Llanddwyn Island
- The Lleyn Peninsula and Cardigan Bay: Porth Dinllaen, Abersoch, Pwllheli, Barmouth and Aberystwyth
The Isle of Man
- Port St Mary
- Peel
- Douglas
- Laxey
- Ramsey
Ireland
- Northern Ireland: Ballycastle, Bangor, Strangford Lough. Ardglass
- Southern Ireland: Carlingford Lough, Malahide, Howth, Dublin, Dun Loghaire, Wicklow and Arklow

| Who Can Charter?

The crew strength required to charter is based on a points system.
The number of points required is shown on the boat's information page and we have allocated the following ratings to practical qualifications recognised in the UK:

The Skipper should also hold an SRC radio operator's licence.
We will require copies of the skipper and crew qualifications, logged experience and a detailed crew list for each charter.
